Excel Files Won't Open in Excel

The below steps should assist with resetting Excel to open Excel documents.
- Right click an Excel .xlsx file
- Select Open With – Choose another app
- Select Excel
- If Excel isn’t listed…
- Select Choose an app on your PC
- Browse to C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\root\Office16
- Find the Excel.exe file, select and click Open
- Click Always
- Done
